After the State Fair I was so happy to come home. Since Hank
is moving away to Lake Mills Tony decided to throw him a
going away party. I donapos;t like Hank anymore because he is� �
crazy and was trying to hook up with Jenny when he had a
girlfriend. I canapos;t believe he would want to hook up with
her since she is opposite of pretty and desperate. I canapos;t
believe that I used to like him.
I felt so happy to be home and did not miss the fair at all.
I loved having my own bathroom and being able to sleep early
and wake up late. I also liked not having to live on Easy
Mac. My house seemed so clean and comfortable.
Today I did my senior picture at Photo Innovative. I thought
the pictures would turn out bad since it was just a portrait
place but I loved my pictures. The one I chose was me in a
white v-neck shirt with my hands on my hips. I had a coupon
so it only cost me $10.95. After that I got four inches off
my hair so now it doesnapos;t even touch my shoulders. Then I
went out to lunch with Tony. Afterward we went back to his
house and we were planning Hankapos;s going away party since he
is moving to Lake Mills. It was Tonyapos;s idea but I am helping
him. We talked to Hank on IM and he said he canapos;t make it
since he has to help his sister move into her dorm room.
Tony and I were so pissed since we had put a lot of time
into planning and inviting people. We still donapos;t know here
the party is since Kyle, the guy who knows wouldnapos;t tell
Tony because Tony was bugging him all last night about it.
All we know is that it is on the north side of Madison at a
guyapos;s house named Big Joe. After we talked to Hank Tony
called Kyle and Kyle said� we should still have the party
anyways. I donapos;t really like Hank anymore since heapos;s an
asshole and tried to hook up with Jenny, who is really ugly,
when he had a girlfriend. Hank and I used to be good friends
but when he realized I just wanted to be friends with him he
started ignoring me.
Last weekend I worked at Target as usual. On Saturday it was
so busy because of the back to school rush. The lines at the
registers were so long and someone was cashiering at each
register. I flirted a lot with a guy named Forrest who is my
age and lives in Mount Horeb. He works on the sales floor
and does backup cashier a lot. I love his shaggy hair and
bright blue eyes. He is about 5apos;10" and has nice muscles. I
would classify his clothing style as a "rocker" or "punk". I
got off work at 3 and went mini golfing with Lauren Day,
Tony, and his friend Naveen. Naveen is 16 and goes to West
High School. He was cool and all but he kept saying he
wanted to drink which was annoying. After golfing we went to
Lauren Dayapos;s neighborhood and walked around. Someone in a
car pulled over and yelled Naveenapos;s name and told him to
get in the car. He did and I saw a lighter light up, but it
was only a cigarette. At 9:30 me, Tony, and Naveen left
Laurenapos;s house and went to Walmart. I got a cute red shirt
for $4 with a gift card. Navveen shoplifted some eyedrops. I
donapos;t like that kid because he thinks he is so cool and such
a badass. On Sunday I had a bad day at work. The crazy Guest
Service Team leader named Leah was working. She takes
everything seriously and loves to play by the rules. I am
also tired of some of my annoying co-workers.
Last Friday I went to the south side of Milwaukee with my
mom to visit Grandpa
and Betsy. I was driving and accidentally pressed the hood
button. The hood bounced a little but luckily it didnapos;t fly
up. At Grandpaapos;s we had Subway for lunch. It seems like he
is senile but he is actually just hard of hearing. He
doesnapos;t hear a lot of stuff so he doesnapos;t know what is going
on. Betsy, his companion, is pretty sharp for a 78 year old.
She also can walk really fast. Sheapos;s really nice and I am
glad my Grandpa met her because Grandma died when I was 5.
Grandpa told me that he met her on a blind date after WW11.
In WWll he was in the Navy in Australia, the Philippines,
and Paupa New Guinea. He still remembers the morose code. He
told me that his dad came over from Poland around 1910 and
his momapos;s maiden name was Parker. I asked about Grandma and
he said she was Slovenian. Then he said she was Yugoslavian.
Then he said her parents came over since they didnapos;t like
the Serbs. My dad told me that she was Croatian. My cousin
Amy thinks she was Czechoslovakian. I think Croatian is a
good guess since most Croatians are Catholic and my Grandma
Mary was Catholic. There is also a big Croatian population
in Milwaukee. Her last name is Sage, which could be
anything. Then we went and visited my godmother Aleta in New
Berlin. Sheapos;s really cool.

Today I went to registration at 11:30 and didnapos;t get out until 1:30 because the line was so long. Here is my first semester schedule:
1. Spanish AP
2. English AP
3. Racket Sports/ study hall
4. Ancient World (I may drop that class)
5. Algebra 3
6. Consumer Auto
7. AP Environmental Science
Then I went to Yesseniaapos;s house.
Last night we found out the party was on Dakota Dr. And Tony was so relieved. Today at registration I was so tired and I felt like I was going to faint. I was so dizzy and wanted something to hold on to.
8-25-08, Monday
Yesterday work was good. I got to put away reshop on the sailsfloor. I talked to Forrest a lot. He said my new haircut was cute. That is the first time anyone has called me cute since I was seven. There were so many annoying and crabby customers because of college move in day. There were a lot of slow people who held up the lines. I donapos;t know if I made the right decision about quitting Target for the school year. I just want to have time to do homework and to hang out with friends. I will miss everyone at Target so much. I had a lot of fun times there.
On Saturday Tony picked me up at 8:45 for the party on the north side. First we went to Rocky Roccocoapos;s to see if Tonyapos;s friend Andrew could come but he coudnapos;t. We left at 9:10 and arrived 25 minutes later. We followed the Maqpuest directions and didnapos;t get lost. When we arrived we called Kyle for the house number and he told us that the didnapos;t call Big Joe. So there was no party an we drove out there for nothing. Then Quentin and some ghetto guy named Darriel called asking where it was. We pulled over next to a park and they found us. Tony told them what happened and they were angry. We felt like we had been screwed over by Hank and Kyle, but Kyle was probably just being inconsiderate and didnapos;t think to tell us that there was no party. I was so embarrassed that we drove out to the north side for nothing. The four of us ended going to Culvers. Quentin told me that he was the getaway driver for a robbery so he could get an X Box. He is also not a virgin anymore. I used to think he was a good guy but now I realized I donapos;t know him as well as I thought. We went out in tenth grade twice but we never kissed or did anything together. It was like a middle school relationship because we never even hung out outside of school. Then we stopped talking and then he liked some blond girl who thought she was black.
Today I spent the day at home. At 5 my mom came into my room to tell me that I needed to go outside. She wanted me to ride my bike around the cul-du-sac. I feel like she wants me to re-live my childhood because I apparently did not play enough with kids. I will be 18 in October and I feel like I am too old to go out and play. Since I have been having dizzy spells lately I took a strong antihistamine. In order to stand and not be dizzy people need to have no problems in their inner ears, no eye problems, and no joint problems. I think it is likely that there is fluid in my inner ears, so I took the super strong allergy medicine to get the fluid out. The medicine made me so tired and drowsy that I am not going to take it again.
8-29-08, Fri
On Wednesday at work I had a change of heart and I decided that I didnapos;t want to leave Target. I already handed in my leave of absence sheet so I have to talk to HR but I am pretty sure they will let me come back in November to work on the sales floor. I want to fill out college applications and and get used to school for a little. If everything is going well I can go back. I feel like I have mastered cashiering but I hate its since the customers annoy me.
�My physical therapist measured my right thigh an left thigh. I though my left one would be bigger since I injured my right knee but my right thigh muscle is bigger. I am making progress but my knee still hurts when I do some squatting exercises.
Yesterday I took the bus to Richland Center to visit my friend Bill from the State Fair. We went to his ex-girlfriends farm where she works and I got some pure honey and maple syrup. I also saw baby cows and when I walked out of the barn I somehow had cow poop on my hand. Then we went to his school to get his schedule.� At his farm I played with his cats. They were so dirty and had rough fur. His puppy bandit liked to chase and play with the cats. Bill also has chickens. His parents and grandpa were nice. Driving home only took an hour and Bill had dinner at my house. Then Tony came over. I am so glad I donapos;t live on a farm because it looks like such a tough life.
9-1-08, Monday
On Friday I woke up early to go garage saling. I got Paris Hiltonapos;s perfume for $1.50, a shirt for a quarter, and 2 pairs of shorts for a dime each.
On Saturday it was my last day cashiering. I was sad to leave the people but happy not to be cashiering any more because I hate it. Yesterday my parents went to Lake Geneva and I went to Taste of Madison. Kyla came over with Hoffman, Yessenia, and a junior who just moved into Laurentapos;s apartment complex. Then I drove everyone downtown. I got Daveapos;s jerked Jamaican chicken with rice and beans for $4.
Today I was supposed to hang out with Tony. I was going to wear a dress that came down to the tips of my fingers but my mom said it was too short. I hate it when she says I donapos;t dress appropriate.
9-6-08, Saturday
On Tuesday I went to the doctor. I� found out my dizziness was probably caused by my tensed and strained neck and shoulder muscles. Then I went to Lauren Hoffmanapos;s house for a pool party. Yessenia, Day, Gina, and Raksha were there. Then I had Michael Sheahanapos;s funeral. It was really sad and everyone was crying. Even when I saw his body in the casket I couldnapos;t believe that he was really dead.
On Wednesday it was my first day of senior year. In my Spanish AP class I know a lot of people in it. In AP English I really donapos;t have any friends but I love Mrs. Schwegoral and had her last year for Efficient Reading. In English we are starting out reading "A Modest Proposal." In Racquet Sports there are a lot of nice people in that class. Mr. Sullivan is really cool and I love Ancient World. It is a nice slacker class that is interesting. Mr. Sullivan is an archeologist in the summer and he helped prove that King David did exist. Lunch is really good this year. I have all my friends in it. Hoffman usually goes out with Wil, Skyler, and Kyla so I havenapos;t seen her often these three days. In Math I have Mr. Collins and I donapos;t know how hard that class will be. Iapos;m already having trouble with the review stuff. In Consumer Auto all the guys are losers and younger. In AP Environmental I am worried for having to pick partners because I donapos;t want to get stuck with a bad person. This year I will only have homework in Math and English. I will probably have a little bit of homework in Spanish and AP Environmental.� �
9-10-08, Wednesday.
On Saturday I relaxed. At night I went to see Kung Fu Panda at the cheap theater with Tony. Then we went to Woodmanapos;s to visit Lauren Day while she was working. Then we went back to my house to have noodles because in the movie there were some good looking noodles. On Sunday I relaxed and did homework. Yesterday and today have been good days. First of all, I love all my classes. They are all really interesting and easy. Last night I read the consumer auto text book and worked ahead. I really want to learn about cars so I donapos;t get ripped off when I go in to get my car serviced someday. I also think taking care of cars as well as working on them is really interesting. In AP English we are reading the book Candide by Voltaire. Racket Sports is ok. There are some nice people in that class so it isnapos;t that bad. On Monday I played bad mitten and it was scary for me because it was the first time I played a sport since my� knee got messed up in the summer. Today I played tennis but I didnapos;t run much. I am in therapy to tighten the tendons that hold the patella into place and I havenapos;t worked on running or jumping yet. In Environmental Science we are reading the book Ishmael and writing a paper on how to solve the environment.
This week I realized something: Itapos;s easy to go to school and not say anything to anyone. But when Iapos;m shy and quiet I am bored. Sometimes I want to talk to other people but I donapos;t know what to say. So lately I have been working on talking to more people because I am a happier person when I socialize with others.

Two weekends ago I went to a salon downtown to addition for the runway show for Madison Fashion Week. I did really bad on my walk and just got an e-mail saying I didnapos;t get picked. Last weekend I went to Target with Tony. It felt good to be back.
So on Friday my phone was stolen during Consumer Auto, as well as $6. I had an idea of who did it but it could be anyone. I am so pissed cuz we didnapos;t have insurance and that phone cost $100, and the case $20. All of Sprints phones that I like are over $200. Now I am using my ugly old phone, and Iapos;m really pissed off.
Last night I finished all my college stuff. I applied to UW Wisconsin, La Cross, and Minnesota. It feels so good to finally be done.

So today I am 18 and legal. Itapos;s hard to believe that I have been alive for 18 years. I donapos;t really feel like and adult though because I am still living with my parents and being controlled by them. At school Kyla gave me 2 balloons that said Happy Birthday Zoe on them.
Last Saturday I�went to State Street with Theo Tzougros. His grandma is my momapos;s dadapos;s cousin. Theo lives in a nice house in Seminal HIlls in Fitchburg. We walked around downtown and ate at an Etheopian restatraunt called Bakura. He paid, which was nice. At night I went to a dance at the Alliant Engergy Center put on by a company called NIght Storm. I�went with Danielle, Jenny, Brandi, and Craig. They were all so annying but I only went with them becasue none of my other friends want to go. I danced with a bunch of guys and had
